Global One is proud to have participated in the launch of the inaugural London Climate Action Week. City Hall was host to an array of speakers including the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, and the CEO of Global One, Dr Husna Ahmad OBE. Leaders from the public and private sectors all shared their strategies to combat the climate crisis. Many spoke of the importance of including ethnic minorities in the discussion of climate change solutions, as it is inherently a social justice issue too. Global One is greatly appreciative of the steps London is taking as a world leader of climate action. The great diversity of London makes possible the opportunity for innovative cross-sector collaboration. There is much work to be done, but together ambitious goals can be reached.
