Empowering Women and Girls

Women across the world battle daily struggles for equality. These struggles are exacerbated in contexts of poverty, violence, and lack of access to basic care and goods. By donating today, you can help women gain a better quality of life.  

Across the world, women are disproportionately impacted by the conditions created in poverty-stricken environments. Gendered positions and roles often see women and girls subjected to violence and deprived of access to basic hygiene, sanitation, and dignity.  

Without access to basic hygiene, water and cleanliness, women and girls face further barriers to accessing education, employment, and safety.  In crisis circumstances, many women are left widowed making them the sole providers for their families but unable to provide for them.

Global One is working to empower women and girls in crisis hit and poverty-stricken communities. We provide thousands of dignity kits for women and girls experiencing poverty, delivering menstrual health essentials such as sanitary pads and underwear. We sponsor Orphan girls, providing holistic care and access to education to give them a safer and promising chance at life. Through our provision of water wells to communities, our programmes allow women and girls to spend more time in education and work.
