Our vision statement

Following the goals of previous successful deployments, this Kenya deployment aims to improve the physical, mental and emotional well-being of FGM victims, fistula sufferers and orphans. Global One aims to develop effective and innovative ways to provide support for vulnerable women and children, specifically in relation to childbirth, by restoring dignity and empowerment.

Our mission statement

Global One’s ongoing mission for the Kenyan deployment is to assist the Global One Kenya Office in their local projects. The volunteers’ work will vary as it will be determined by the demands and needs of each project. The mission is predominantly to ensure women and children living in sufferable conditions are supported in their most intimate needs; therefore, the main focus of our projects will remain with the distribution of ‘Dignity Kits’ and the ‘Box for Life’, organising activities with orphans, and assisting in trauma counselling for FGM victims and fistula patients, to name but a few.
